Position Specific Training Classes

These instructor-led courses are designed to help Scouters learn how to effectively carry out their Scouting roles. In most cases, completing the course will make a Scouter “trained” for the role(s) covered in the course. E-learning versions of some courses may be found on-line.

If you are a registered leader in California, you will already be compliant with your Council’s and California’s youth protection requirements. If you are not yet a registered leader in California, go to GGAC Safeguarding Youth where you will find detail information about Scouting America’s Youth Protection Training and California’s LiveScan and AB506 Mandated Reporter requirements.
