Become a Certified Climbing Instructor with Scouting!

Take your Scouting adventure to new heights with Climbing Instructor Training. The Silicon Valley Monterey Bay Council and the Cal Neva Climbing Collaboration are offering two great opportunities at Camp Chesebrough:

• Level 1 Training: February 22, 2025 – Gain the skills to support climbing activities under a Level 2 instructor. Perfect for adults and older Scouts (16+). [one year certification] 
• Level 2 Training: May 30 – June 1, 2025 – Advance your expertise and lead climbing events on natural rock routes or fixed climbing walls. (21+) [three year certification]

Both trainings include pre-course online training, hands-on practice, essential certifications, and meals.
